The Usual (Waiting For Noon)

It's identical to every semester since I started college. The pattern is exact, and repeats thusly:
A+ A- A B.
There is rain waiting in the sky, heavy wet grey and I can tell it will be cold, when next I put myself through the door to feel water falling on my head some of them miss rain and I have always liked it, though I like it best warm.
Text is defying me again, certain things that don't go in words, the charged wet quality of the air, the feeling of happening so close to the surface.
Do I want a drink? I can't tell.
