I woke up this morning singing that song from that AMV, the one from "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum!"

I! Melus Gloriosus!
Destroyer of the Greek
Oppressor of the meek
Subduer of the Turk
Must hurry back to work

It's stuck in my brain. I have no idea what I dreamed, but I'd lay two cents my animus was pretty active last night, based on my waking-song choice.

I'm very excited about that thing and putting my furniture together and I also figured out where I'm going to put clothes I want to donate. I had some of those clear "office" type trashbags sitting around from when we got rid of the whole Kathy/Shanahan debacle, and they're different from the black plastic ones, and I can also see what's in them, so that's great for exactly this purpose. Typing with my eyes closed, sort of like typing with my attention focused elsewhere ala Jaz who can do a number of absolutely wild multitasking things.

Anyway, I'd like to pretend that...huh, I ought to see if they have a freeware key speed loggy app device that can monitor how fast you type, irrespective of errors; I just want to know basically how fast my hands are hitting the keys. You know, rough estimate. That'll probably make me look better than I am, which was sort of the point of the whole errand in the first place.

I'm listening to "Epicentre" on repeat, 'cause it's Baraka's, it's his favorite, and it's also pretty much Baraka Sings. In British.

Seriously, I had a mental "voice" of how he sounded, and it was beyond weird to me when a friend was like, "Have you tried this?" and gave me some VNV and DUDE IT WAS BARAKA'S VOICE.

The exact same voice as in my head. With the exception of accent.

Baraka sings.

It seems I'm waiting years
For this day to end

I've gotta go grocery shopping, and then I've gotta do my damned homework project, and I know my professor is frustrated, because he's always like, "Please submit the assignments early" and I always go right up to the deadline.

I really did try, this time. Real life happened to me. Not to say it hasn't been fun, 'cause it has, for the most part, but it sucked up all my time and this is basically the first paper I've written at college that was a tight fit because of Life Stuff instead of being a tight fit because I'm a natural procrastinator.

...She promised dutifully, keeping her fingers crossed behind her back.

Class crap: somewhere in the neighborhood of 5,300 words.

I am NEVER writing four posts, two responses, a resume`, and a cover letter all at once EVER again for any reason that does not involve me being paid money.

I got it done with twenty minutes to spare. Hells yeah.

Sleep, now. >_
