Best Pens Ever (Almost Ever EVER)
Jan. 31st, 2009 12:51 pmAre these.
SO SMOOTH. And because they're made with water, it doesn't "float", there's not all that mess following my hand; the ink goes into the paper where it is supposed to go, and the control is shockingly even for a 'nice' pen. And the forest green! It is my favorite. Such a captivating color for a pen. It looks black or blue until you compare it with the other colors, and then suddenly it's beautifully green.
The nibs could be better, but I destroy nibs anyway, pressing pressing pressing so hard, scratch scratch crunch. So it's good that the nib is a little work-horsey.
These are the only fancy pens that can handle me. *Preens most gracefully.*
Fair warning: they are water-based. If you are at all like me, portions of your notes will be easily lost or damaged under coffee, tea, energy drinks, and/or tears of pure towering RAGE, so, mind that, and also keep your books out of the rain.
On the upside, so silky smooth yes. I can take notes so quickly! Lovely.
Right-handed girls are scary; they don't use shorthand and their letters are so neat.
And I've got a scary whipstitch f I didn't notice before. Upper F points downward a little, like the rune sign Ansuz. The hook on my y's at the end of the tail--the funny downward curl after finishing a loop--is starting to go away again.
Anyway, PENS.
There is no I in pens. ^_~
