Lather, Rinse, Repeat (If It's No Trouble)
Aug. 4th, 2010 04:23 pmMaking soap is a pain in the ass. However, pure castile soap is easily, easily purchased at the average pretentious bobo health food store, and pretty cheap, considering a little box of the Dawn dishwasher pill things is like twelve bucks.
GALLON OF SOAP = about $15.
Why do we want this? FOR MAKING OUR OWN HOUSEHOLD CLEANERS WITH.
Because I am super amazingly sensitive to fumes of any kind. You may recall the coughing blood incident? Jheti + fumes = srs bns.
Anyway, here is a "counter spray" type cleaner recipe that works on bathroom and kitchen (food safe) sinks, bathtubs, etc. etc. and is safe for cloth/clothing/plastic and most kinda porous surfaces. DO NOT USE ON WOOD.
You can get the hippie-dippy items at your local health food store.
