I expect I'll stop singing the praises of Ikea sometime next week. That, however, is next week. This is now.



My back has hurt for four years. Solid and nonstop. My head has hurt for five. That stops for aspirin and alcohol and sometimes for Benadryl, or sometimes just because.

This morning, I woke up feeling no pain.

For the first time in five years.

O, miracle.
