and having been given the prompt "mirrors, linefacing" for a yuri pairing, what are your thoughts about RoV canon Mme de Polignac/Antoinette? Or can you throw me some other suggestions? I think for the anon involved it's more about the kink than the actual pairing used.

IKR. The "shipwreck" etc. etc. is basically the canon history of how Romulus came to be, but in song form. ftw. *kwee.*

Canon? On the offhand, I'd say it could work. Iirc, they meet early, and Antoinette is extra-sparkleyed about, like, everything and also convinced that anyone with the voice of an angel must be an angel.

This, then, suggests to me that a wall of mirrors are like the inside of a music box. Nightingales' claws. This kind of thing.

Well the epic was originally sung rather than convoluted couplets.

aaaaaaaand after I made that post, I shotgunned all the episodes I had left that you sent me (moar pls? 8D ) and decided that while the pairing is technically workable, I couldn't put any heart into it. I also thought of a much cuter pairing for it, though I was intending darkfic.

Persona 4: Naoto (in the hat) and Rise. oh god the two of them have so many issssssuuuuuuuuues; one of them hates being a girl because no one takes teenage girls seriously as detectives, so pretends to be a guy, and the other one just dropped out of showbiz where she was on display in a bikini selling soda all the time, but learned how to fake confidence as a teen model

but they are both so goddamn cute and awesome and by the end of the game they seem to be on the road to making it out all right
