Desire (Half The Time)

It’s not even a drabble! There’s no sense without context! Which totally doesn’t matter, because.
“How many times do I have to kill you for you to stay dead?”
He strains to answer; he wants to sound smart. All he gets is blood and air, a mouthful of foam he couldn’t spit out if he wanted to. He doesn’t have the strength.
It slides all the way in, it goes through him and into the floor, chasing waves of blinding incredible pain and he can't even scream, larynx pinned tight by the steel.
"Time to die."
He wants that, too.
I sort of have one, a kind of revelation that came to me in the form of Shou Tucker (!!) of all characters, but it's not ready yet. If I can just survive this month.
Survival. That is the plan.
