So pretty trees!
That is what spring should look like.
Spring looks like that in DC, too, in one little place in Capital.
When I went "climbing trees" and was tree-climbing age, there were mostly cherry trees to climb. They're dangerous, too; slippery as hell and too delicate at the edges. They will drop you, SNAP, to the ground, and it's like falling off a horse. Which I've also done.
I don't care for horses, in any sense of that word, but I have some minimal experience with them, and remember the shrieking thrill of a sudden canter (except that's not nice to do to a horse, but I wanted to see if we could, and wow did I get a scolding.)
Spring here is hot and green, but not as crushingly wet and breathlessly hot as it will be in perhaps another forty days. If the weather stops smoking so much weed. Seriously WHY is it still so cold? Brrrr.
I have a dangerous love affair with the impossible smothering soaked-anvil heat of August. <3
Anyway.
This day's inane block question, what are you proudest of doing in your life?
