Harry Potter (Movie Squee)

HBP is probably my favorite of the books.

It's nonspoilery, which is why it's so brief!

The movie finally gave me Spinner's End in correct fashion. (Always thought in-text Narcissa there was being overplayed for JKR's own satisfaction/for the lulz.)

Tom Felton is growing up ugly, but he did what there was for him to do, and he did it to the hilt.

Is it me or has Alan Rickman put on about eighty pounds?

I waited through the whole film eagerly for the big-bandish track the preview loop promised me and could not discern it; I assume it's in the party scene somewhere.

Luna was perfect from start to stop and will probably only get more awesome with repeat viewings.

Haven't seen it yet, but HBP was also my favorite book, Out of all of them it stands out the most when I think back on reading them. And nobody fell through any curtains, which I think is a plus.

Haven't seen the movie yet, but I saw a clip of Alan Rickman, and yes he does look like he gained some weight... I just think back to Die Hard and how different he looks with facial hair.

I just...It surprised me how much I really ended up liking Snape/understanding Snape because of HBP. Before that, I didn't care for the character (not like or dislike--just "meh, it's a Snape"), but then I was able to understand his motivations and such because of this one.

And Dumbledore being a badass who goes on adventures that about burn his hand off.

I'm still not sure whether I think horcruxes were awesome, but Tom Riddle was officially made SCARY AS FUCK by HBP, too.

Yeah, it just hit me that he was looking less...craggy?...than usual. LOL so true! Looks like two different people almost.
