There should be a track or a driving school that teaches you how to be more aggressive and to steer your way through a slide, etc. However, since you do not encounter much ice or snow in Florida the sliding skills may be unnecessary but fun to learn. The one that we have in this area is expensive, but I suppose you would just have to shop around. I should take the course seeing as I commute to school but am not a defensive driver.
